The Everlasting Sunflowers Project
will be the first sculpture installation produced using Steel Yard facilities, to be installed on the SY site. Artist Christopher Vicini, and his Apprentice Heidi Born have been making aluminum castings of sunflowers grown on the Steel Yard site. In the spring of 2008 a garden of metal sunflowers will permanently adorn the Steel Yard grounds. Unlike their natural counterparts these flowers will always be in bloom!
